Bike Your Park Day
Annual Event
Bike Your Park Day will be held on Saturday, September 28th as part of National Public Lands Day. Riding a bike is a great way to connect with the world around you. Bike Your Park Day is a good excuse to explore public parks and lands like the Natchez Trace Parkway and Chisha Foka Multi-Use Trail in Ridgeland.
Explore Ridgeland and our cycling friends will be celebrating Bike Your Park Day at the Bill Waller Craft Center, located at 950 Rice Road, from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Mayor Gene McGee will lead a 45-mile road ride from the Crafts Center at 7:00 a.m. Come join Mayor McGee on his daily ride!
There will be a Family Ride that leaves at 9:00 a.m. and will go north on the Chisha Foka Multi-Use Trail to the Reservoir Overlook and back for a total of five miles.
If you can’t make either of these rides, we encourage you to get out and bike on Saturday and come see us at the Craft Center. We will be set up until 11:00 a.m. with snacks, drinks and music on the back deck. Have your picture made and let everyone know that you’re celebrating Bike Your Park Day in Ridgeland!
Many thanks to the Jackson Metro Cyclists, Soul City Cyclists, and Bicycle Revolution for your support of Bike Your Park Day 2024.
