This season, Explore Ridgeland and the Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to rally local businesses and residents to “paint the town in wildflowers.” The #WildAboutRidgeland campaign is a community-wide marketing effort to honor the Ridgeland Wildflower Field and Art Park, and to encourage both locals and visitors to explore this unique roadside attraction. Businesses in Bloom: A Community Celebration
One of the most exciting parts of this year’s Wild About Ridgeland campaign? Local businesses across Ridgeland are joining in the fun!
In partnership with the Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce, Explore Ridgeland is encouraging businesses to get creative and help “paint the town in wildflowers.” From storefront displays and window art to themed merchandise and photo ops, this is a true community-wide celebration.
To add a little friendly competition, Explore Ridgeland will award prizes to three businesses that truly make the biggest bloom:

Take a Walk Among the Wildflowers
Before you leave town or head to your next adventure, be sure to take a moment to walk among the Wildflowers and soak in the beauty of this special place. The Ridgeland Wildflower Field and Art Park, located at the intersection of I-55 and West Jackson Street, is part of the Wildflower Trails of Mississippi Project and has quickly become one of Ridgeland's most beloved seasonal attractions.
Funded primarily by Keep Ridgeland Beautiful, with generous support from Keep Mississippi Beautiful, America in Bloom, Ridgeland Recreation and Parks, Ridgeland Public Works, and local citizens, the field was created to provide a welcoming gateway to Ridgeland, foster pollination, and showcase public art that reflects the spirit of our community. As you stroll through the wildflowers, keep an eye out for the latest public art — including vibrant pieces by local Jackson artist Gavid Bird.

Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning to your favorite spot, walking among the Wildflowers is the perfect way to get #WildAboutRidgeland.
Don't forget to snap a photo and share your wildflower moments on social media using #WildAboutRidgeland and #ExploreRidgeland. We can't wait to see how you're celebrating summer in full bloom!
