The Dixie National Livestock Show & Rodeo is the largest rodeo east of the Mississippi, a month-long event in Jackson, MS, featuring professional rodeo (bull riding, roping, barrel racing), extensive livestock shows (cattle, horses, 4-H/FFA), concerts, a large parade, shopping at the Marketplace, and various equestrian & agricultural expos, drawing huge crowds for its traditional cowboy culture, competitions, and entertainment.
