EXPLORE RIDGELAND WELCOMES BLAIR SMITH AS NEW MARKETING COORDINATOR
RIDGELAND, Miss. — Explore Ridgeland announced that Blair Smith has joined the organization as marketing coordinator, effective January 9, 2026.
In her new role, Smith will support Explore Ridgeland’s marketing and communications efforts, including content creation, digital and social media management and visual storytelling, helping to promote Explore Ridgeland as a premier destination for visitors while strengthening local pride.
“Blair brings a fresh perspective, strong creative skills and a passion for storytelling that will help showcase what makes Ridgeland so special,” said Shane Aldridge, president and CEO of Explore Ridgeland. “Her background in digital marketing and community-focused content will be a valuable asset as we continue to elevate the city’s visibility and share our story.”
Smith is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing, with a minor in supply chain logistics and a concentration in integrated digital marketing. She brings experience in content creation, branding and community-driven storytelling, with a strong interest in promoting local businesses and destinations.
Outside of work, Smith enjoys crafting, staying active and spending time with friends and family. She is eager to contribute her creativity and enthusiasm to advancing Explore Ridgeland’s mission and promoting all the city has to offer.
