This welcoming mural enjoys pride of place and represents the vibrant community in Ridgeland. Located at the Ridgeland Visitors Center, the Welcome to Ridgeland mural is the perfect place to pause for a selfie before your begin exploring Ridgeland.
Each summer, the Ridgeland Wildflower Field bursts with color as the seasonal attraction blooms. Stop by to clip up to a dozen flowers, or take photos with public art by local artist, Gavin Bird.
Mural artist William Milam said “hopefully it brightens up this community in Old Towne Ridgeland and hopefully people will come take pictures with it and it becomes an attraction.”
If you walk towards the center of Northpark, you’ll find a butterfly mural. This project was created to help raise awareness and money for ovarian cancer. Taking a picture with the mural donates money to Colleen’s Dream Foundation, an ovarian cancer research organization.
Each selfie posted on social media with the hashtags, #butterflyeffect, #ColleensDreamFoundation, and #PacificRetail will help the organization get $5. Participants must also text 978-403-0014 with their selfie.
Inside Firehouse Subs, you'll find a custom mural showcasing Ridgeland landmarks, local heroes, and the spirit of community, painted in the brand's signature bold, story-driven style.
