Sanderson Farms Championship PGA Event October 23-29, 2017
An annual stop on the PGA Tour, the Sanderson Farms Championship will be held at The Country Club of Jackson from Monday, October 23 through Sunday, October 29, 2017.
This is a great opportunity to see and meet some of the best golfers in the country right in Ridgeland's own backyard! Cody Gribble is the defending champion competing for the $4,200,000 purse among the 132 players set to take the field.
The course will be closed to the general public on Monday and Tuesday with gates opening at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday for the Allen Exploration Pro-Am. On Thursday, October 26 and Friday, October 27, gates will open to the public at 7:00 a.m. with morning tee times at 7:15 a.m. and afternoon tee times at 11:55 a.m.
Saturday, October 28 is University Day, so wear your favorite team colors! Gates will open at 8:00 a.m. with the Third Round tee time at 9:00 a.m.
On Sunday, October 29 wear pink for breast cancer awareness month. Gates open at 7:00 a.m. and at 7:30 a.m. there will be a non-denominational church service at the Clubhouse. Final Round tee time will be at approximately 9:30 a.m. Trophy Presentation will be held on the 18th Green at approximately 4:00 p.m.
Tickets may be purchased at sandersonfarmschampionship.com or during tournament week at Will Call located in the general parking lot at Northpark Mall. General Admission Parking is located at Northpark Mall and it's highly recommend to take S. Pear Orchard to Northpark Drive to access the parking area. General admission tickets are available as well as BankPlus Fan Pavilion tickets allowing guests to enjoy and open-air sports bar setting.
Here's what spectators need to know about the Sanderson Farms Championship PGA Event:
- Spectators are permitted to have cameras Wednesday only. Large camera bags are not permitted.
- Small purses (6" x 6") are permitted or clear plastic vinyl bags not exceeding 12" x 6" x 12") but are subject to search. Coolers, backpacks, and other items larger than a fanny pack or small purse are not permitted.
- Spectators bringing chairs must remove the chairs from their bags. No chair bags are permitted.
- Children 17 and under will be admitted free of charge with a paid adult. (One child per adult)
