Ridgeland is already Mississippi’s premier cycling destination, so it’s only appropriate to launch the first locations of the Ridgeland Bikeshare Program.

Visitors and locals alike can experience on-demand bike sharing powered by Explore Ridgeland and Koloni Fleets.

The fleet is split between The Bike Crossing for easy access to the Chisha Foka Multi-Use Trail and the Ridgeland Visitors Center near popular outdoor shopping districts Renaissance at Colony Park and Township at Colony Park.

Create User Account
Follow the in-app instructions to create a free account.
Scan QR Code or Input ID
Unlock a bike inside the app by scanning a bike’s QR code or inputting a bike’s ID.
Enjoy Your Bike Ride

Things to Know

City of Ridgeland ordinance requires all persons to wear protective helmets when riding a bicycle. Helmets are included with each rental and can be found in a weather resistant bag in each bike’s front basket.
Hours of Operation: Daily from Sunrise to Sunset
You may not ride a bicycle if you are under 18 years of age. A minor who is 18 years of age or older may only use the services if the minor’s membership is subscribed for by, and the minor is under the responsibility of, the minor’s parent or legal guardian.
Users must review and approve the terms and conditions inside the app.
Ride at your own risk and be sure to follow the rules of the road.

Where to Ride

Along the Trace

The Bike Crossing bikeshare rack is conveniently located near an entrance to the Chisha Foka Multi-Use Trail, a 10-mile paved path that runs through historic Choctaw homelands. Upon entering the trail, turn right to navigate to the Ridgeland Wildflower Field and Highland Colony Parkway. Or turn left and make stops at the Parkway Information Cabin, Brashears Stand + Old Trace, and Old Trace Park on your way to the Reservoir Overlook. Enjoy the serenity of this protected greenspace with other cyclists, joggers, and nature enthusiasts. The Bike Crossing is also located just off Ridgeland’s Jackson Street, home to local shops and restaurants.

The Retail Trail

The Ridgeland Visitors Center bikeshare rack is located at Renaissance at Colony Park, an upscale outdoor shopping and dining district. Just north of the Renaissance on Highland Colony Parkway, the Township at Colony Park similarly offers shopping, dining, and paved paths circling nearby ponds for a more urban riding experience.

How to Return

Bikes must be returned to a Ridgeland Bikeshare rack at the end of the rental period to avoid charge. To return a bike:

Return bike by placing the wheel in the rack and securing bike stand in upright position.
Return helmet to weather resistant bag and place in bike basket.
Open Koloni app and select “End”. Bike will lock and app will prompt user to take a photo of the bike.
User will receive a rental receipt and via email.
